Law Firm of the Year

Our nomination highlights the unique way we operate as a legal services business driven by purpose rather than profit. With case intake rising by 30%, revenue increasing from £17 million to £22 million, and headcount growing by 25%, ARAG Law has demonstrated strong and sustainable growth while staying true to our founding principle of enabling everyone to assert their legal rights. Our integrated model, managing more than 96,000 advice line calls and around 8,500 cases a year, continues to provide clients with a seamless and supportive experience.

Lawyer of the Year: Crispin Edmunds

Crispin’s shortlisting recognises his exceptional leadership of our Catastrophic Injury Team and his dedication to the most seriously injured clients. With over 25 years’ experience, he has secured remarkable outcomes including almost £8 million in damages across 2025 and a settlement exceeding £5 million in a complex motorcycle injury claim. Crispin’s focus on client care, communication, rehabilitation support, and mentoring within the firm sets an outstanding example of legal excellence.

Business Growth Award

Following the merger of ARAG Plc and DAS UK, ARAG Law has undergone its fastest period of expansion in firm history. Claims volume has increased by 38%, settled cases by 16%, and revenue by 23%, alongside a 39% rise in profitability. Our workforce has grown by 19% with more than a quarter of our people currently in professional training. We continue to enhance efficiency, innovate through technology including AI, and strengthen client service, reflected in our improved Trustpilot rating, now at ‘Excellent.’

Operations Team of the Year

Our Legal Operations Team has been recognised for its vital role in driving efficiency, improving client journeys, and supporting almost 200 fee earners. Key achievements include the introduction of employment welcome calls, a new appointment booking system that reduced prospect assessment times by 10 days, and a streamlined document gathering process. The team completed a record 27,000 tasks in 2025 and took 20,000 calls across the year while also supporting inclusion initiatives and creating pathways for future legal talent.
